Stamio ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use the Stamio mobile application ("the App"). By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Stamio:

• Account information: Your name and email address when you create an account

• Authentication data: Encrypted password (we never store your password in plain text)

• Loyalty card data: Stamps collected, rewards redeemed, and card program participation

• Business information: Business name, address, phone number, and logo (for business owners)

• Location data: Your approximate location, used only to show loyalty programs near you

• Usage data: App activity such as stamps given and received, and redemption history

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Stamio account

• Operate the loyalty card system between customers and businesses

• Display nearby loyalty programs based on your location

• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

• Improve the App's features and performance

• Ensure the security of your account

4. Location Data

Stamio requests access to your device's location solely to display loyalty programs near you on the Explore screen. Location is only accessed while the app is open (foreground use). We do not track your location in the background and we do not store your precise location on our servers.

5. Camera Access

Stamio requests access to your device's camera solely to scan QR codes for collecting stamps and redeeming rewards. Camera data is not stored or transmitted.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We do not share your data with advertisers. Your data is only used to operate the Stamio service.

We may share data with:

• Hosting and infrastructure providers (solely to operate the service)

• Law enforcement if required by law

7. Data Security

Your data is stored securely on encrypted servers. All data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard encryption and are never stored in plain text.

8. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all your personal data will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.

9. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data at any time

• Delete your account and all associated data from the App settings

• Export your data upon request

• Correct any inaccurate information in your account

To exercise these rights, you can delete your account directly from the App (Settings → Delete Account) or contact us at the email below.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
